Eligibility & Rules
Eligibility Criteria:

You must live in Mountainview County
-
There is a $25 application fee. Fee must accompany the paperwork.

The application must be completed in full
-
Application submitted by May 15th, 2019
-
Always be respectful of other contestants and the public
-
No abuse (excessive hitting, whipping or spurring) on animals will be tolerated.
-
There is both an oral and ridden patterned component to the competition.
Required Appearance Commitments:

June 15th 2019 - Competition Date

July 19th -21st, 2019 Beef and Barley Days, Parade, CARA Rodeo, Junior Rodeo

Other possible dates (TBD at a later date)

Carstairs Pumpkin Festival (September)

Grassroots Pro Rodeo Finals (September 2019).

Other potential dates may arise.
Rodeo Royalty Rules:
-
No smoking, drinking or undesirable behavior as you are representing
-
Carstairs and the rodeo.
-
Western attire is required to be worn at all events.
-
You are required to own or have access to a horse for the duration of the competition and the reigning year.

You must provide all transportation to and from all of your events for you and your horse.

Please be respectful of each competitor as well as any Carstairs Rodeo Committee members / volunteers.

Communicate with the committee, if there is an area of concern. No question is too big or small and it is important to keep communication open.

Appropriate contestant photos and attire may appear on the Carstairs Rodeo Associations Website & Facebook Page.
