CARA Rodeo 

WHO:

  • Organized by the Carstairs Rodeo Association.

WHAT:

  • The Carstair's Rodeo is a great weekend of family fun and rodeo action.

  • Porta-potties, security and beer gardens on site.  Will also have a money pit for the kids to dig in on both days; face painting on Saturday.

 

WHERE:

  • The Carstair's Rodeo Grounds are located at the south end of town near the Community Hall.

 

WHEN:

  • July 19th &  20th 2019.  - Held in conjunction with Carstairs Beef and Barley Days.

  • Will kick off Friday night at 6pm and again on Saturday at 1pm

  • Junior Rodeo will  start Friday morning at 9am

  • $12/adult, $8 (6-12), 5 and under is free.  Rodeo Contestants $5

 Additional Events: Wild Pony Racing, Mutton Bustin, Wild  Cow Milking

 This year we will be putting on an exhibition event!  Come see the mini   broncs!   And have your kids give our "Chicken Pickin" a try!!!   We will     also be crowning our Rodeo Royalty on Friday night!

 

Mutton Bustin is on a first come basis; we will take the first 20 kids   entered.  Entries are Saturday at 1:30pm in front of rodeo office.  $10 

 per child.   Wild Ponies, we will have 6 teams at each performance.   call  in for entries as instructed below.
